Haarlem-based TommyTomato was launched as a ‘green’ startup in 2020 with the mission of making all young children in the Netherlands “vegetable eaters for life”, a promise they strive to fulfill by delivering hot vegetable lunches and providing various means of ‘food education’ to primary school children and daycare centers. Studio Onward has been an integral part the design and execution of the brand since their launch. During my time with the studio, TommyTomato would essentially become my ‘baby’, resulting in much close contact and cooperation with the incredibly driven people working there.
